A WOMAN who took cannabis into the grounds of Kirkconnell prison farm near Lithgow was placed on a 12-month bond in Newcastle Local Court yesterday.
Magistrate Richard Wakely made the decision after being told that Rachel Underhill, 30, of Colorado Close, Warners Bay, had completed a drug rehabilitation program. The court heard that Underhill, who pleaded guilty, had not intended to take the drug into the prison when she went there for a day release visit with her partner.
