Breach Of Bond Stupid: Magistrate

A WOMAN was on a bond and serving periodic detention when she took cannabis into the grounds of the Kirkconnell prison farm, near Lithgow, Newcastle Local Court was told yesterday.

Magistrate Michael Morahan referred to the action by Rachel Underhill as "stupidity after stupidity".

"Has she got any brains at all?" he asked her solicitor Chris Bennett.

Underhill, 30, of Colorado Close, Warners Bay, pleaded guilty to having brought a drug into a place of detention at 8.30am on May 15.

She was remanded in custody for sentence today.
